The open plan ground floor and high cathedral ceilings emphasize the spacious feel of the house and the family room.
It also allows
us to have two seating areas, one being a family area around the TV and
close to the kitchen, the other is an area for reading or relaxing
or just generally chilling out after dinner.
We also have two dining areas, the kitchen area has a breakfast bar and a
casual dining table for quick breakfasts and easy going meals. For evenings there's
an 8 seater formal dining area for when you're in the mood to indulge or
entertain.
To keep in touch while you're away, the house is equipped with free high speed Internet (DSL) for your convenience.
The Kitchen itself is as well equipped as you would expect, it's also easy to
work in and simple to keep clean. There's a Microwave, natural gas range,
high capacity dishwasher and side by side fridge-freezer with ice maker and a
large larder, plus a waste disposal unit and all the usual kitchen gadgets.
With windows overlooking the pool deck there's a view of the lake and the pool, so it's child and parent friendly too.
The house has four great bedrooms, with the Master bedroom on the ground floor plus a second Queen bedroom and two Twin bedrooms
upstairs. The Master bedroom
is elegantly furnished with comfortable Queen bed, it's own 19" cable TV and a large walk
in closet, it also has direct access to the pool and has great lake views.
The on-suite bathroom has a roman tub and whirlpool bath, walk in
shower enclosure with twin showers and double vanities, all set off by
gold taps and fittings.
The upstairs Queen bedroom is equally well furnished and also has a large walk in
closet and 19" cable TV. This room enjoys the morning sun but is shaded by our magnificent
American Sycamore trees during the hottest part of the day, making it cool and welcoming
in the evenings. This room is adjacent to the upstairs bathroom which has a
full length bath, walk in shower enclosure and vanity, again with gold
fittings.
The two Twin rooms are suitable for both adults and children, they have
plenty of closet space and like all the other beds in the house feature
firm pillow-top mattresses for a good nights sleep. All four bedrooms are air conditioned and have ultra
quiet ceiling fans for additional comfort.
